Who We Are
Northstone Commercial is more than a construction company. It's the culmination of two careers, decades of experience, and a brotherhood nearly 50 years in the making. Founders Thomas Crouch and Joe Parks are stepbrothers by definition, but simply brothers for most of their lives.
Their late father, Dale L. Parks, was a respected master carpenter whose pride in craftsmanship, integrity, and doing things the right way left a lasting legacy... one that still shapes the values that define Northstone today: quality, accountability, trust, and respect for the craft.

Founder | Partner
Thomas Crouch is a Founder and Partner of Northstone, bringing more than 30 years of construction leadership to commercial, multifamily, and tenant improvement projects. Over his career he has directed the planning, budgeting, and execution of hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial construction, earning a reputation with owners, developers, and property managers for delivering projects with integrity, precision, and accountability.
Thomas currently leads commercial construction management engagements that carry projects from design through closeout, coordinating architects and engineers, developing and leveling contractor bid packages, and managing procurement so owners get qualified contractors at a fair, well-vetted price. At Northstone Commercial, he oversees company operations, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication, backed by digital project management systems that give owners real-time visibility into schedule, cost, and progress.
Known for his calm, solutions-driven leadership, Thomas treats every project as an extension of the client's business goals, protecting cost, schedule, and quality from start to finish.
Joe Parks
Founder | Partner
Joe Parks is a Founder and Partner of Northstone, and a master carpenter and builder with more than 40 years of experience delivering complex, high-stakes construction work. He has led multimillion-dollar framing and finish carpentry projects, founded and operated a successful remodeling company, and produced custom architectural millwork for demanding commercial and residential clients alike.
Joe has built an industry-wide reputation as the professional people call when a project is complex, technically demanding, or simply has to be done right the first time. From intricate architectural detail and custom millwork to challenging structural framing and high-end interior finishes, his ability to solve difficult construction problems on the fly has earned the trust of architects, designers, general contractors, and owners across large-scale projects, and referrals from local lumberyards and suppliers who know his work holds up to scrutiny and scale.
At Northstone, Joe leads design collaboration, construction execution, and on-site quality control, ensuring every commercial space is built to the same standard of precision and craftsmanship that has defined his career.
